You might check the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). With the connector, connected, push a stiff wire in D - Ground and one in A - V+. Turn the ignition ON, but not to start. You should get close to 5V. Then move the wire from A to B. This reading should be about 80% of the voltage you had when...
