Okay.. so I scored a hp dana 44 out of a 77 ford 150. I havn't had a chance to look at the axles in person, but from what i've seen in the past I think where the ford radius arms go are cast. The setup i had in mind was tnt y link to this axle. Question... is it possible to weld to cast if it...

I'm not to experienced in different machines, but I can tell you some buddies and I all put in for a Millermatic 210 and it prolly was the best damn thing ever! We eventually traded it for a lincoln 140, air compressor, and some cash. Def a big difference. But then again the 140 is a whole lot...

well the thing is i'd love to use the xj or even my fj60 as a tow rig, but all those cars listed are all dead. But I do understand that towing any vehicle period with that truck is retarded... thanks for the input

I guess i should prolly look into full size trucks for a tow rig. Haha, i love the gas mileage from this truck though. Ok second question.. if installed electric brakes on the dolly would that at all help? Again, i have no experience towing so i apologize for my stupidity...

I've got a 97 Nissan Pickup 4cyl, 5speed, 2wd. The truck's max towing capacity in the manual says 3500lbs. Okay after comming back from a wheeling trip this reallllly annoying rattle started. The best I can explain it is it's comming from the drivers side i think right by my feet. Possible from the steering shaft? Anyway, if i'm crusing straight the rattle is bad. If i put any tension on the steering...
