    Can you interchange the input shafts on a NP231 and NP242? Take the 23 spline out of the 242 and put it in the 231?

    I had a question about the NP207 T-case, I know some of the earlier XJ's came with it and I was wondering if will bolt up to a 91 XJ that has a NP242? Is the bolt pattern the same?
