    Driving speeds

Tire pressue, When I got them fitted last month I'm sure it was 33 all round! I will reduce them tomorrow and give it a test. I will also check out steering components. I did notice some tire rubbing on the front anti roll bar break away arm, but this would only occur at slow manouvering speed...

    Driving speeds

Thank you for your comments, Firstly, not done any re alignment. I had been running the stock tires for a couple of years and found no problems with wear patterns. The main problem I have found is the front end wanders alot with side winds due to the steering being very loose. This is noticable...

    T-case lowering

I used 40mm box section, but after running for a week I found I could not engage 4low. Easy fixed by replacing the 40mm with 25mm (1") box section. Installation was done by removing seats and carpet, drilling out studs and dropping in new longer bolts through access hole. Once bolts in place...

Which shocks for RE 4.5" lift kit

Yes, Bilstein make these specifically for each vehicle, XJ, etc, I ordered a full leaf 3.5 front, 4.5 rear kit from RE and then asked them to supply the correct mono shocks. You can also check them out on their site catalogue, the kits are divided by vehicle. Hope this helps.

Which shocks for RE 4.5" lift kit

The RE mono are Bilstein's, and are mached to the lift kits. Just tell your fitting 4.5 and they will specify the shocks.

Rear Shackle and Tailpipe clearance issues?

Just finished my lift, sorted the drive train rattle but same issue, SS exhaust rattleing against RE 4.5" springs. NOT going to cut that, will try to relocate the rear exhaust bracket. Or add some rubber mounting to move it towards the center.

    New lift shackle hits frame

From the second picture, it looks like you have bolted the spring direct to the frame mount (The bit thats welded to the chasis) and not used shackles, if you still have the original springs check to see if the shackles are still attached? If this is the case, then when you put the shackles on...

    Trailblazer 4" 5" lift.

Thanks for the advice, Been trying to source kits over here, (UK), for the past couple of weeks, as well as thinking about getting them shipped. Well, managed to locate a supplier who can do the RE kits, so I'm going for the 3.5" front and 4.5" on the back to offset the drop from the tank...
