My mistake, i didn't have my notes in front of me at the time. The locker is a LS (i believe) and its a Track Loc for $174.

gears Thats excatly where i'm at too. Were to get the 4.56's and a rear locker. Randy's quoted me $467 for the gears and $147 for the true trac locker. Thats with all the kits and a thingy (tech term) for the 30 up front.

Every XJ is different. I have a 98' with 6.5", 6 deg shim, 1" drop, and NO SYE. I get a vibe between 30 - 35 mph, but its minor.

popping noise Mine pops when i turn to the right, but i found out that its the track bar doing it. I guess the heim joint is worn out, so i need to get a rebuild kit from RE. Have someone turn the whell for you and listen for the sound. Good luck.

Ok here we go, i need some advice. First off I have a 98' XJ, with the 4.0. I have about 8" of lift using, 6.5 springs annd 1 3/4 spacer up front, and a 6.5 spring pack in the rear. I am running a transfer case drop, and a long yoke drive shaft. My question is this, since i'm limited on funds...

Dave, what are the part numbers of the shocks you got? I'm sitting about the same highth and my ride is really stiff, but then again i have Ranchos in the back and Rusty's up front.
