I'm just a newbie that wanted to change his transmission fluid and feel cool about doing it.
And so I came here to figure out what fluid to put in....well....it is 12:00 noon now and I still have not decided on the fluid!
I didn't realize that pages and pages have been written on the...
I live in the Baltimore area...any idea where there is a good place to have my transmission flushed? Or will Jiffy do?
Any other things I should have them do on my 99 xj with 175,000 miles while it is in their shop? My tools are pretty limited, and my knowledge of how to care for my XJ is...

In a previous post you all gave me tips on what parts to change and...

Hello jeep gurus,
Can any of you point me towards an image online that is of a jeep cherokee engine, with the parts labeled? If something like that exists it would be a huge help for my ignorant self to get started on learning how the machine in my driveway works.
thanks,
Frank
Cheers Blackchrome! Ive added your suggestions to the expanding notebook that I have titled "Tour de Frank". anything else you recommend feel free to throw it at me.
Thanks,
Frank
