im looking at some bumpers but not wanting to spend tons of money i.e. warn, c4x4. i was flipping through the essentials magazine and noticed the o.r. fab rock slider front bumper. is this a good reliable brand the price is $369 also where else could i get it besides quadratec. thanks for the help
im goin to do a rear disk conv. on my 8.25 and i was wondering where i could get a complete list of the parts i would need. or would it just literally be everything off a zj to the xj? any and all help would be apppr.
i have a 2000 xj classic and the pinion bearing is shot on my 8.25 i want to get a junkyard rear-end (a 35 or 8.25) will any year, 87-01, dana 35 fit while i rebuild the 8.25 so i can still drive. all the help is welcomed thanks!
i have a 2000 xj classic, my front bumper is trashed im debating between the c4x4 http://www.custom4x4fabrication.com/trailblazer.jpg, and the warn http://www.4x4rockshop.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=2367, why on the warn do i need extensions and i dont for the c4x4?
hmm... would i just cut off the leaf purches from the old axle and weld them on the new one? and do you know if they make a conversion kit to put rear discs on the 8.25?
i have a 2000 with the chrysler 8.25 my pinion gear and carrier bearings are taking a dump. i need to replace them but im not sure what to do. im 19 and going to an automotive school. i have a friend who works for chrysler so im not worried about the special tools. its the runout on the pinion...
thats what i was also thinking was the driveshaft b/c as the speed increases the noise with get a higher pitch. that would probably be some helpfull info. but thanks for the info so far i will check my joints
