Don't know if this helps or not fwiw installed a 3" 4wd kit on a buddies tj last summer. It was a well thought out kit and he's wheeled it pretty hard. I think it actually ended up 3.5 or 4 inches and didn't settle much, so the spring rates appear to be set up for someone with bumpers/armor. I...
Just to chime in to give everyone searching some info:
I just finished this up a couple weeks ago, I used 4 rear flares, 2 left, 2 right. I did end up trimming a majority of the inside of the flare where the holes are and then marked a line about an inch and 3/4 all the way around the...
I'm doing this next week and was going to pm you, but for the benefit of all, do you know the thread size of those 3 mount bolts through the frame? I know the stock ones won't be long enough and I can get grade 8 ones here in town.
The brake light coming on is an indication from your pressure sensor that there is a difference in pressure between the front and rear brakes, usually indicating some sort of leak. You need to check the calipers and wheel cylinders for leaks, although most common is a leaky wheel cylinder.

Found the power splice. Jeep in it's infinite wisdom ran the power wire from the starter relay (orange link/red wire) all the way to the ECU where the red wire connects from the fuel pump relay to provide battery power to the ECU and spliced the two together in the ECU connector.
Once we...
So does mine, but he's physically looking at the wiring and there's no connection between the fuel pump relay and the red wire with the orange fusible link. The only red wire from the fuel pump relay goes to the ecu and provides battery power. We can't find the connection between the orange...
Been on the phone with my lil bro and we've narrowed it down to this:
Good 12v power at latch relay
Connections to fuel pump ok
No 12v power at fuel pump relay
Jumpered 12v from battery to 30 on fuel pump relay, pump turns on and works
Jumpered from 30 on latch relay to 30 on fuel pump relay...
I'll take some pictures and send them to you. I used them for about 500 miles and got a good deal on a used lift. I'll have to find out how much the shipping is.
Just put a lift on my '91 and have these laying around for free to pick up.
2 sets rear leafs - 1 set from '91 180K miles, 1 set from '98 40K miles
1 set front stock coils 180K miles
1 set front rotors 25K miles - need turned, not warped
I also have a complete set of Monroe shocks, stock...
Is there a way if you decide to change systems to "uninstall" the factory alarm system? Mine on the '91 doesn't make noise anymore but still cuts off the ignition.
