    Suspension Shops

I've had a similar problem in the past. It was a bad tire. That may not be your problem, but it sure could be. Someone on this forum once said he could balance an egg, but that wouldn't make it round.

    What gears?

I have a '91 with the AW4. Put on the 32's and the Jeep lost all of it's pep. It was a dog to drive. I looked at all the charts and formulas that all figured the 4.10s would be back to stock, but after extensive search of this and the JU forum, I decided to go 4.56. IMO this combo is...

Does moving the trackbar effect alignment?

Eagle, could you explain this further. I don't want to ruin these new BFG's.

    RE hack and tap

That should be "grind" the edges.

    RE hack and tap

Yes. It happened to me too. I thought I had the wrong part, but with the help of this forum from RHP Phx, I learned that the shaft must be champhered. Just gring the edges of the shaft slightly, and take a small file and clean up the grooves. It will go on easily with the aid of a rubber hammer.

Does moving the trackbar effect alignment?

Mike, Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I know the track bar and steering link are different. I just wanted to make sure neither one effected the alignment.

Does moving the trackbar effect alignment?

Adjusted the trackbar about 3/4 inch, and centered the steering wheel. Does this have any effect on the alignment? Should it be re-aligned?

    RE control arm grease fittings

OK. I'll try again tomorrow. By the way. I really appreciate your help on the SYE the other day. Deburred and chamfered and it went on just fine.

    RE control arm grease fittings

Installed the RE 5.5 this past weekend. Put the grease fittings in the LCAs but they will not take grease. Haven't put on the track bar fitting yet and it looks like there is no place for the grease to go when I do put it in. Any ideas?

    SYE output shaft

Thanks for the reply. So if I run a file in all the groves, it will go on? It is the right part?

    SYE output shaft

Trying to install the RE SYE. Shaft is cut, hole is drilled and tapped. The SYE does not want to go on the shaft. I ordered for the 242. Instructions for this one are for the 231. Are the output shafts different? Help please.

feelin the road through my steering wheel

CameronB, This has happened to me once before. It turned out to be the worn out tires. Evidently, the suspension changes had an effect on the wear pattern. Also, more recently, I did not rotate the tires as soon as I should have and the front tires were beginning to cup. When I put them on...
