one of my friends recently acquired an intake manifold from a junkyard out of a 99 or a 00 xj with the 4.0ho because his cracked. my friends cherokee is a 1990 with the 4.0. will the newer intake manifold bolt up to the renix motor? when he got it, he figured a 4.0 intake was a 4.0 intake...

that explains that, but what if you had a set of ho injectors would those work just the same as in installing the ford injectors?

out of curiousity what performance gains would you get by running the ford injectors? and would you have to alter the xj's computer at all?

i'm getting really irritated. took the radiator out, and was looking at that bottom "bolt". its not a bolt. its a nut. i tried one of those gator grip sockets that supposedly works with anything with no luck and my vice grips aren't working either. any come to find out my drill, the plug is...
