    steering overhaul

The summit ends won't work for the trackbar, so I am looking at other options again. May use TREs or the Rock Jock johnny joints, probably a mix. It would make the trackbar at the axle really high. It's a possibility but just eye-balling seems unlikely: ps--the knuckle holes are not tapered...

    steering overhaul

Hi all, I'm looking for a sanity check on a plan here. The TREs on the Currectlync setup that I've had on my woods beater for the past few years have gotten worked out and there's a ton of slop in my steering anymore. I'm planning to rebuild the front-end to get some additional down-travel and...

    beater!

Here are a couple of pics of the trail beater from last year's NACFest, the last time I had it out. I did just enough maintenance to get it running but I don't know if I will make it this year or not.

    beater!

Been busy for the last couple of years (got married even). The trail beater picked up more damage on the last outing (floorboard ripped), on top of the existing problems, plus it only gets ~12mpg, so I have been avoiding driving it and it's sitting under the carport out back. Hope to get it back...

    NACFEST 22 Rausch vs AOAA

AOAA trails are more challenging, but harder to get to, and shared by motorcycles and ATVs. All of the Rausch trails are right next to each other and are fullsize-only. AOAA has better on-site facilities (esp camping), but Rausch is closer to hotels and the campground. AOAA is much cheaper...

    simple dual-electric fan setup

Mech fan isn't an option for me, I need to be able to turn the fans off and on for the stuff I do with it. I didn't have any issues until I started to really build it. I still don't have any issues on the trails, only on the highway.

    simple dual-electric fan setup

I'm forgetting to keep this thread updated I found a 38mm hose adapter on ebay that fits the upper radiator hose well, and it either had a 1/4 NPT tap already or I was able to enlarge it myself to fit the temperature switch (don't recall). This was a couple of years ago, so no link sorry. I...

    242 case variations?

AFAIK the export and police packages were the same, stronger chain. Maybe there is an LHD / RHD variant. I know the 96-down and 97-up models are different internally. Also the WJ (and probably the 2000+ Liberty) has a different setup (no speedo output, a few other details).
