Naaa, Im just huge Monty Python fan and cant resist the urge to display this uberdorkness when possible. Im kind of stalled on my jeep, when the weather was nice last week I went hiking instead of putting in my window tint kit, now I dont feel like doing it. Lift kit is on hold for now too...

    Difference in grills from 84-96

looks to me they're designed to it in the middle like that for styling reasons, which I happen to like. As for installation being a pain, adapt and overcome, lol! seems like if they were just attached to the cross pieces of the original grill they would stay put..They look nice btw.

The tires are only 235-75/15 Toyo Open Country's. I would go a full 3" but Im trying to avoid all the extras that go with that (shocks etc.) I found a 2" kit that consists of a spacer up front and a new leaf pack in the back, and shock pin conversions for under $200. Im thinking Im going that...

Yeah, the Jeep was woman owned for the last few years and taken good care of. I managed to steal it for under $1k and have only added the wheels which I had and swapped the shocks off my sport as well. I made the steering wheel cover myself and hand laced it on the wheel. Other than that only...

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the NW guys here on this forum. I grew up in Corvallis and while my travels have taken me to several different states I ended up back here after being gone almost 20 years. Ive also owned in the neighborhood of 50 different vehicles including...

    dear lord,why me?

There is a test kit you can buy (called a block tester ) from Carquest or Napa that will test for a blown head gasket. It "sniffs" your coolant and detects exhaust gases in it. I used to own a Supra and am well versed in OMGWTFBHG. As for your life situation I can relate. 2 years ago my wife...

    Removing seats

(This is for the 4 door version seats, 2 door folding seats may be different) I just took my seats out this week and can attest to the fact the 4 bolts holding it to the floor is the way to get it out. The frame that holds the foam and fabric is NOT removable from the base that mounts to the...
