    rear side windows that open?

Lots of camper shells are made with side windows that tip up. Think you could adapt one of those? They would have hindges, and latches already instaled, also gas props to hold them up.

MJ slop steering & very bad wobble incident

Seems we are condeming the steering box without even checking tre's and ball joints. I would be takeing a hard look at those also. The tre at the pitman arm seems to be the quickest to go away and will cause lots of "free play" in the steering. I think that may cure your death wobble at the same...

    Need Alignment Specs

Rather than just out of balance, you may have a tire that is out of round, or even comming apart at a ply seperation. Jack up the jeep then spin the tire. Watch the tread as it rolls, it should seem to go nice and stright. If you have a "snake" in the tread you need to replace that tire before...

    Pulled my new drivetrain

I wondered where you would stand on smog laws also. Here (AZ) if you put in a '03 motor you must meet '03 smog standerds, not '86 like the body. I would think that if you dont get to wild, it should pass with only 22k on it. Good luck with it.....I can loan you a shoe horn if you need it.

    Windshield Replacement

I used to own a body shop, and stopped doing glass when they started glueing them in. Have the pros do it. If they crack it, if it leaks, or has any other problems, they just fix it no problem. Also, cutting out the old one is a major pita you dont need. If you have comp. coverage on your ins...

    Lace wheels, will 235/75 fit?

Regardless of OEM size, I also have 235/75r15's on my 90 sport. They fit the alum. wheels fine and don't rub even off road. Compaired to my gps the speedo reads about 2-3 mph slow. I can live with that. All and all I am very happy with the size. I would do it. Just my .02

A few of the big block hi perf cars had 31 splines also. Look for the "N" cast in the carrer to build a bulit proof rear end. Those are very hard to find but if your running big hp very worth haveing. Good luck with it.
