The first problem is the 10w30 oil. A common recommendation is Rotella T6 5w40. The 4.0 holds 6 quarts of oil. I would recommed installing a new oil pressure sender and change oil and a Wix filter.
OMG that's funny! The plastic tanks insulate better? Seriously? The radiator literally has one job and that is to radiate heat away from the coolant inside. The plastic tank radiators first appeared in the 80s as a way for auto manufacturers to cut costs, not because they cooled better.

So if I were to swap out my D35 for a C8.25 under my 01 XJ I could reuse my current ZJ disks by simply enlarging the center hole diameter of the backing plate? Axle flange bolt pattern is the same?
I used Inline Tube for a complete pre-bent brake line kit for my 68 Camaro rebuild. I used the Nicon lines rather than the SS. Very nice product for a very reasonable price.

I have DBA ceramic pads and T3 4000 series rotors front and rear ordered from Summit Racing for my XJ with rear ZJ disks. These are great performing brakes but they are pricey.
