Re: Noraml Heat Range for a 2000 4.0L just wait till you start it up and starts misfiring because its so hot. Have read that it is because the fuel rails are situated above exhaust manifold, thus allowing hot fuel to enter into the chambers. Sounds like a recipe for misfire to me. Great post...

Not only did i have a bad switch the flasher was screwed up too. It only worked sometimes. (i just figured that the relay would work or not work at all so i was looking at other reasons for the problem) I replaced it with a new one and it works all the time.

Not to highjack this thread but I ask because my blinkers only work if the key is positioned just right. The switch is on the left under the multifunction switch (brights and left right turn lever). Is there anything electrical involved in the ignition cylinder?

I bench tested my old switch and it failed agin at pin 1 and 4. Which is to and from the flasher and the right turn lamps

does anyone know how to bench test the flasher? I just thought it either worked or didnt and the FSM say nothing on how to test.
