    Getting Rear coils in December.

My recently acquired XJ is four linked in the rear but JR is right about the rear leafs. A decent pair of shackles (revolvers or similar) and some softer springs work VERY well. Ride quality is good and plenty of flexablility, also cheaper and easy to modify. There are a fair amount of guys...

    Suggestions please

I have to say I agree with JR on this, spend your money on the suspension you really want, all the other stuff you find on "for sale" forums for cheap. I buy almost everything on forums, you would be suprised at all the brand new stuff you can find on forums from people who bought stuff then...

All Jeeps are real Jeeps my friend,.......... so how is Barksdale treating you J.R.? It wasn't so bad while I was there, if you like cajun food there is a real good Cajun place called Saviou's (probably spelled that wrong), try thier blackened gator tail, it is killer.

What was done to YOUR rig(XJ/MJ) today MECHANICALY????

Re: What was done to YOUR rig today? Changed the oil in the new rig, it was reading WAY over on the dip stick when I got it, decided to measure it when I dumped, was just under 6 quarts which is about right for the 4.0L. Is this a common issue for XJ's? My TJ never had this issue, same engine.

Seeing as how I didn't build this rig, not sure wether or not I should name her. If Roxtar pops in in here maybe he can give me the name of this beast.
