dont know if you checked it yet but it was mentioned ina earlier post check the grounds had same problem with a misfire jumping cylinders and was ground above the valve cover along the firewall is where they are all connected for the injectors try grabbing the harness and wiggling it with engine...

x2 on the brake fluid, check the wiper blades for dry rotting i would reccomend changing the heater hoses if they look questionable, they usually bust when u dont want them too

if u can find them in your area i would recomend the sportking at, cheaper than the bfgs and the grabbers ride good and last i believe they are a cavalier brand

if u go to a 16" tire u have a lot more options on widths around a 31" diameter, as far as set to go offroading in as mentioned a bove i would go with mod terrain, probaly find a used set that would work for ya

when i first lifted mine, its a 94i went cheap, used coils and built a bastard pack out of two sets of xj leaves, then added what i needed, its also my dd, eventually bought new springs and lower carms because the ride was harsh, save some money and time and try to do it once, u get what u pay...

have u checked the u joints? i would assume they were new, but check for binding in them, if they are tight or hard to move sometimes u can tap the yoke with a hammer to center them and free them up had the same prob as u r having and traced it back to a tight ujoint not seated properly hth

did u check to make sure u have a good connection on both sides of the butt connector?

i did the same as webdog, but installed it in the thermostat housing, whichever tee u use make sure it is deep enough for the gauge sensor hth
