in 2wd it is totally unnoticeable. 4wd on the street and in the snow is terrible while turning, but you can shift in and out of 4wd on the fly at low speeds when approaching a corner just throw it in 2wd turn and shift back to 4wd after if you need to.

Make sure the bolts on the track bar mount at the frame rail end are all tight. Pretty common for them to loose and do what you are describing.

I had a similar pop that turned out to be the trac bar bracket on the frame. The bolts had come loose and the mount was shifting.

Does anyone know how many different flex plate/crank sensor combinations where used and what years they were used in? looking to use a flex plate from a 97 in a 91 and wondering if the crank sensor will agree with it or not.

The plan was to get chromo's as I'm on 36's and want it locked as well. So I figured I'd get a Detroit for the rear with 29 spline chromo's. Just wanted to verify that all I needed was the shafts if I was using a full carrier locker.

If I was going to do this I would need shafts, 29 spline locker or spiders, and carrier? Am I missing anything here or is that it?

Ya I don't think the flex joints would last as long in the mud. The rubber joints they have use the factory bushings at both ends so changing them is cheap and easy. I run the rubber joints and I'm happy with them. For that price I'd pick them up and run the flex ends til they where out and...

For something you only wheel once a month I would get the joints with the rubber bushings they will last way longer on a dd. Rusty's sells them for $39 a piece.
