i replaced the rear gage sensor with a new renix one the old cracked 95 sensor went into the trash . my thing is with a year since i pulled and got rid of the old block and now im finally getin her back on the road some stuff got lost . new baby will suck the time outa you before you know it...

ok i am going to see about puting the sensor in to the Tsat housing since its on the motor now all i got to do is remove the old 95 sensor . that will be much easier thanks for the info guys !

ok so the sensor in the back of the head is for the gage only ....and there is supose to be a sensor in the radiator for the electric fan (only thing is my cherokee 1987 pioneer never has had a electric fan i am adding it now ). i am going to just wire up a switch for the fan .my 87 is a no AC...

i have the 95 thermostat housing with the 95 sensor can i cut the plug off the old 95 harness and splice it to the renix harness ? will that sensor work with a renix comp ?

i have done a swap of puting a 95 block and head into a 87 with all the sensors and wiring but it seams to be running hotter than the other motor . i did some searching here and now i know why .i lost the CTS for the computer (jeep was down in the garage for a year and some stuff was lost in...

ya i cleaned the arms 1 pair at a time them put them back on to not mix em up the head looks tons better now . It had about 1 inch of sludge on top of it .The pan had a lot in it too been cleaning this thing for 2 days .lol !!!

i have a HO head i took apart to clean the sludge out of does anyone off hand know what the bolts need to be torqued too?

Bump ! any thoughts on these questions ?

My questions are about the intakes can the 87 intake bolt straight on to the 95 head ? . I have a borla header off the old 87 block (i dont have the old 87block or head anymore long story ....) will it work on the 95 ? i did some searching that answered all my other questions geat site...

ok cool does anyone have a write up on that adapter plate ? i searched a bit with no luck.

i planed on using the Renix MPI system . will the egr on the 87 borla work with the H.O head if i use the Renix?

i got a 87 4.0 and im puting in a 95 HO do i need to use the HO flex plate to go with the 87 tranny ? also i had a borla header on the old 4.0 will it work on the 95 HO block? i plan on only swaping the block and head out and keeping all the Renix wiring.
