I need to get rid of parts that have been just taking up room

About a month ago my fuse popped for my gauges, radio, power locks, interior lights and not sure what else is on the IOD circuit. Jeep runs fine and everything else seems to be working okay. I mainly drive my jeep to and from work about 100 miles a week. I have gotten terrible gas mileage for...
I didn't have a 3/8 drive torx bit when I did mine. I used a pair of vise grips and the torx socket. Took FOREVER but it did work. Pop the torx bit out if the socket and use a ratcheting wrench
Iv always kept my tire psi low on my cars and jeep for the snow and ice. Keep your speed down and eyes open. Downshifting will also help, but speed is going to be your enemy tell your boss that your life is more important then the pizza, so it gets there when it gets there.
When I replaced mine I had the same problem, cleaned everything and when I filled it it started leaking. Took it back off and realized the housing had some slight pits on it. Replaced the housing and haven't had a problem since.
I like my OME springs although I'm not sure on the lengths I have the medium duty springs that came with my 3.5" kit but they came with spacers. Not sure why, does OME not make a 3.5" spring? The ride is a little rough but my shackle angle sucks and my leafs are the heavy duty dual rate.
Look at www.tooltopia.com many different brands and decent prices. Pretty much any tool you can think of is on there minus truck brands ie mac matco snap on. SK is great quality and not too bad of a price also gearwrench, grey pneumatic and Astro pneumatic have good prices and work well even in...
The stock xj drag link is the same as the zj. So are the tie rod ends. Same part numbers the upgrade is the TIEROD ( the shaft that connects the drivers side knuckle to the drag link. The stock xj tierod is tubing and has flex and may bend with bigger tires or off-road abuse. The zj tierod is...
If it's not the track bar I'd say look at the sway bar links. Did you put in disconnects or longer links? If not with the new lift it could possibly have shifted and changed the angle enough that the bushing are binding and making noise.
You can usually tell if the system is in need of a flush by the color of the fluid in the mc. It should look pretty clear the older and more crap that gets into it the color starts to get a green tint. At my job we must use test strips on every car that comes in for even a simple look over. I'd...
It may be a little out of your price range or not but my shop uses one of these to do all of our flushes and they work great. http://www.tooltopia.com/mityvac-mv6835.aspx
On another note brake fluid does go bad. Not just moister but copper from the lines and everything else. The copper lowers...
Last year I had the unfortunate problem where I had to replace my drivers door on my 98 xj. The latch on the door sheared off and had no way of closing my door. When replacing the door I realized how bad it was sagging. Used an extra shim on the bottom hinge to make up the difference. Now the...
Thanks guys I'm going to see what kind of price my boss can get me on the hd radiator from the dealer. If it's more then the sites posted ill just order it from them myself. Living in CT sometimes the shops and dealers jump the prices up
