You could always put it in 4-LO and 1st.... I always leave it in gear *and* use the parking brake. I worked on a ski hill for many, many years, which involved a lot of driving/parking in very steep terrain. When I had to park somewhere gnarly, I always parked it in the lowest gear possible...
