    Electrical Short - Weird???

Thanks for the help. I know that switch is a problem, but I hadn't had any issues with it. And, I have no idea how that could relate to the ignition issue. But, electrical is pure VOODOO as far I'm concerned. Will dig into it this evening.

    Electrical Short - Weird???

Everyone hates electrical problems, I know. Looking for a starting point to sort this issue. 1993 XJ, 4.0, RWD, with daytime running lights Wife had to have the xj jump started. Hadn't been run in a while. Jackass that jumped the jeep blew the 60amp underhood fuses for alternator and fuse...

    clutch master cylinder

I'm with you on Mike Appreciation Day! The recent photo link Mike pointed you to was my clutch pedal problem, which I didn't realize was a clutch pedal problem, until Mike and Matthew Currie got me pointed in the right direction. You snapped two - I was on number 5.

    Clutch problems

Penzoil Syncromesh - works great for me! I was having the typical issue getting it shoved into first, and sometimes second. Our temps here have been in the +20 degree range here for the past couple of weeks. Shifts smooth even ice cold. Love that stuff.

someone who makes upgraded harnesses for headlights

I'd be interested in this too. PM sent. I've heard mixed reviews about the Putco harnesses. Main complaint with them seems to be the quality, and some failure, of the relays.

Clutch Master Cylinder - Broken 3

The back-up plan was to heat it, bend it, and try to weld a bead in the curve with the fatigued metal. Thought I was going to have to do that but was able to locate a clutch/brake pedal assembly out of a '94 from a guy fairly close to me that has about 9 xj's he's parting out. Went to two JY and...

Clutch Master Cylinder - Broken 3

Ok, Ecomike had it right Thanks for putting me on the right path with this aggravating problem. Mine didn't break, which actually would have helped, it bent (photos attached) and the problem is that I couldn't tell really. I'm sure that it would have eventually broken. The pivot arm was...

Clutch Master Cylinder - Broken 3

Thanks for the input here. I've got it figured out now (will post below) but you can't seat it "turned 180 degrees", but it was a good thought and worth checking. The way that it's molded it will only seat one way. There are molded stops, that may strengthen it actually, that won't allow it...

Clutch Master Cylinder - Broken 3

Ecomike and MatthewCurrie: Thank you both for the guidance here. And, thank you for the photo link. I had never seen a photo of the pedal assembly to compare it to mine. I'd looked at the JY but there seem to be very few with the AX-15 out here. I've looked at probably 20 xj junk yard...

Clutch Master Cylinder - Broken 3

Thanks for the input. I've searched a fair amount and everything I've found has the plastic end at the stud attachment to the clutch pedal assembly. The '90 master cylinder has an all metal rod and I may look further into that but that would have been for the BA-10 tranny I believe - not sure...

Clutch Master Cylinder - Broken 3

'93 Sport, AX-15, I-6 I've "snapped" 3 clutch masters in the past 6 months and I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same problem. The part is breaking at the point where the molded plastic and metal rod are formed together - photos attached. I'm trying to figure out if it's a part issue...

    Seat belt torx bolt size?

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Picked mine up at a Pick andPull. It was like $8.

    Seat belt torx bolt size?

T-50 on my '93. Certain of it. Had to replace a broken seat belt latch a couple of weeks ago. I'm in the Seattle area, not much road salt, so it came out very easy. But, cleaning and PB-ing the underside sounds like good advice.
