Thanks for the suggestions. I am having problems finding a #37 LED bulb with a small tip to fit inside the rocker switch holder. I may just have to stay with the regular bulb - it is only
1.3 watts.
1990 XJ -I have snapped the lamp sockets on the rocker switches - Rear wiper, Trans Comfort. They no longer snap into the back of the switch holder. They use a #37 bulb. Has anyone replaced these sockets? Are there any aftermarket replacements ? I am guessing they may be unique to the XJ. I do...

Well I need a new wiper motor for the 1990 XJ. The original motor is wrapped in a rubber boot. Naturally it fell to pieces during the removal. The service manual makes a statement - printed in bold - to be sure to not damage the boot. Of course the new motor does not come with the boot. Does...
Thanks for the info. It looks like both ends have the same threads. I messed up the threads on the exhaust end trying to reinstall. Hopefully I can find a die and clean the threads up.
