I just tried that and I didn't hear a noise. I replaced the fluid in my T case less than a year ago after I took my Jeep in some marsh mud. This leaves me with the drive shaft. Maybe Ill borrow my brothers off his Jeep and see if theirs a noise.
They all seem good and feel good. I don't see how that's possible seeing as the Jeep has 208k miles on it. When I spun the transfer case I did hear a noise that seems like it could be the noise I hear if it was constantly spinning fast with the drive shaft in. But wouldn't that noise still...
I currently run 4" BDS leafs with 1" inch shackles and a 1.5" blocks and my jeep rides smooth. I have only had the springs installed for about 8 months but there is no sag.
I looked at the front pinion and it looks good and doesn't have any play in it. Turns a slight little before it stops which seems normal.
I assume that LA's is long arms and I'm not running any long arms. I'm not sure what DP's are tho...I have BDS adjustable control arms and after I...
Hello on my way to school one day I heard a noise coming from the front that sounded like if something was loose. As I was about to pull over it stopped. Long story short this noise only starts when I get above 15mph or so and is constant for a couple minutes then stops (no vibs). The noise only...

I'm on the final step of my BDS lift. Bleeding the brakes. All the lines are good except the front drivers side. Every time I hit the brake pedal brake fluid oozes out of the brake line. Its seeping out from the threads. I checked the connection three times now. The threads in the new BDS...
The sway bar end link that connects to a piece of frame that comes off the axle. I'm trying to put in a sway bar disconnect so I need this bolt removed for a new one.
I'm a couple steps away from finally finishing my 6.5 inch lift!!!! But of course there's a problem... The sway bar bolt that connects to the frame doesn't seem to want to come out. I've heard it pressed in the real good and is a pain to remove, but seriously I have been PB blasting it and...
Alright I did the tire idea. Chalking it and pushing the body so the axle would move the amount I needed (it worked amazingly well). Just had my 2 bros push the front and I just shoved the bolt in once the hole lined up.
After having it completed and the jeep finally back on the ground I was...
No i don't have many tools actually (standard ratchet/socket set). I use all my bros who lives next door or my dads. I'm gonna try the tire idea tomorrow in the a.m. and hopefully it will work. If not I might just have to cut more of the jeep. I will post tomorrow and let you know how it...
I just went out and looked at it. The top of the control arm is actually hitting the shock mount on the passenger side (opposite side of the current problem). It is bottoming out and not allowing me to lower the axle any more on that side. I would rather not have to trim that though. I need...
What would trimming the shock mounts do? They don't seem to be hitting the shock mounts though. I just want to get this done and try and save the $180 for drop brackets. The control arms are adjusted to 17" for the lower and 15 1/2" for the uppers. Thanks to this helpful chart...
