    I adjusted to drag link, and the problem is better, but it is still not right. What do I need to look at with the gear box and /or pump to make sure that they are working correctly. I can't think of anything else to look at.

    The pitman arm only goes on one way. I will try to adjust the drag link. I actually just installed the rock Krawler X steering stystem, and It was working fine before any sort of pressure was put on it. I did not have any crap spit out of the pump, and don't hear the box grinding or popping?

    Alright, I am tapped out of ideas. I have taken the pitman ar off, and checked alignment, I have taken the drag link off and realligned the system. I have jacked up the front end, and everything works fine. I put resistance on the steering, even a curb, and the XJ will turn right like you...

    I am thinking out loud here, but can't the tera low kit and the tera 2 low hit be put into a 242 making it have similar gear options as the 300, cast iron case to me only means weight, I can protect the t-case and I only run a 4.0 in the cherokee, I shouldn't break any chains. is the only issue...

    I want to go with a dual transfer case option for the ability to choose different gears for all situations. The other situation I have is I don't have a lot of money to go out and by a atlas 2 or stack or anything like that. I have heard about the 231/dana300 double kits, can this work...

    I don't do any daily driving with the XJ, it is trail only. Where do I measure the Caster angle from? is it at the ball joints, or the steering arms

    The jeep has 8" of lift, has an HP d30, the only odd thing is the 242 t-case.

    I just intalled a long arm kit, and I want to make sure that my axle is sitting correctly. What angle should the pinion or any other surface to measure from be sitting?

    How? I can understand why it would be better with the upper shock adapters, but the BPE?
