i broke a alloy usa 760 just a couple hours ago, and it had less than 10,000 miles on it. im confused as to why this happened, and how to prevent it from happening again.
they are for looks, and mybe protecting your grill and headlights from... brush. if you get in a wreck tho the damage can be worse than not having one at all.
just got done instaling a sye on my 93. i am currently using a front drive shaft out of a 96 auto. and it is stretched to its max. i definately need to get it lengthened. but before that i ran the stock one with a t case drop, didnt have very noticeable vibes but went through u joints like...
i had 3.07 gears and an ax 15 stock and i got a pair of axles for cheap that are 3.55 and i run 35s with fairly good sucess for how much money i am into it. i ran 31s on the 3.55 gears for a while and it was great off roading and in town, but when i hit the highway.... my revs were way higher...
d30 front with a lock right, 27 spline 8.25 open. 35inch kevlars. jeep had 3.07 gears stock and i swaped these on off a wrecked 96 with low miles and these were 3.55 gears. my spedometer is almost correct. and i hammer my jeep hard up here in montana and i have not broken anything on these axles...
i started out with 3.07 gears and a manual. swapped 3.55 geared axles in (off an automatic) and i run 35in bfg AT and it feels stock. definately dont have a problem passing cars on the highway. shit lol ive taken my jeeps spedomiter all the way back to 0. and i still have no problem crawling...
sweet i need to try this. after i did my motor swap i have never been able to get the lincage adjusted perfectly so it'll pop out of 4lo and 4hi somethimes :/
oh well it doesnt really matter that much cuz i dont have the stroker yet. but from what i can tell this is one of the best radiatiors for a cherokee so i should be good to go.
