    The other issue is, with an auto locker you may be able to adapt, but you really can never let anyone else drive your vehicle. May not be an issue for everyone but its something to be aware of.

    A locker rear diff will want to bring the backend around faster in icy conditions....an automatic locker like a lock right is also unpredictable until you are used to them. If you're partway through a turn and hit the throttle causing it to lock up it could cause the rear to come around...

    2400-3500?! There has to be hundreds of these things rotting away that people will sell for a few hundred bucks, grab another tranny and swap it in, its a 3 hour job in a gravel driveway with a harbor freight tranny jack and hand tools.

    False...Tight u joints on the axles can cause a return to center issue and popping when turning.

    Theres one on ebay for $420, not sure why anyone would want one tho, doesnt tell you much and you can test all the renix stuff with a multimeter and common sense. It should also be DRB II, I acidentally typed 1
