93 cherokee 4.0l, renix, i changed the pump last year cause it completely stopped working. yeah it was a cheap non oem pump from checkers. i just changed out pump last year nothing else.

my gas gauge is stuck at half a tank what is causing this? could the float be stuck or could it have a ground problem. every time i step on the gas and gun it the gauge goes down a little bit like usual.

i didn't mean clearing the codes, i've just checked everything and i have injector pulse and spark. i just think something not jiving right, it just won't run and im running out of options and about to take it to the dealership because pepboys refused it cause i have an ignition interlock...

will my 93 cherokee throw a code for the camshaft postion sensor, i heard that the ecu will keep the last reading before the vehicle is shut off and then it won't start after that.

ok just checked CTS it is 12.56kohms and the MAT is 12.62kohms and the temp was around 70 degree. thank you guys cause i really need this thing back on the road. so what next?

oh yeah the motor was cold at 75 degrees

also i just checked my fuel pressure and it is at around 36 psi when i just turn the key, and at start up it is at 40 psi the whole time. what is going wrong here

i checked the MAT and CTS and the CTS is reading 11.57 MOhms and the MAT is reading 11.37 MOhms my ballast resistor is reading 1.8 MOhms what can you tell me from this

the ballast resistor now that you have told me where it is was extremely hot now that i think of it before this whole no start condition. when running is this resistor supposed to be hot? does anyone know the ohm reading on this part is please.

yes it is a 93 and a testing procedure would be nice if someone has one

so where is this ballast resistor and how do i replace it? do i replace the relay also?
