    Idler Pulley

    if you do not tighten down the center nut of the ideler pully over time it will creep out of ajustment causing ssssssccccwwwwwweeeeellllliiiiiiinnnnnngg and most probably your belt will fly off at the worst posible time.

    my first thought would be that you have a loose wire somwhere. if not that thake the jeep to where you got the alt they should be able to test it somtimes youll just get a bad one
