i 've been searching but haven't found yet. i'm doing a bearing job on a friends 93 xj that was just bought and recieved a 6.5 lift. the rear diff looks like a dana 35 and the tag is gone. it seems to have the same rear cover as my 91 xj. the difference is above the pinion on the outside...
BTW the jeep still sits with the driver side low around 1".
all bolts loosened and retorqued and nothing hindering the movement of the shackles
anyone here had to to replace a set a faulty ones?

the torque converter can be ordered with heat treated splines and brased impeller components. i'm pretty sure it's all torrington bearings inside not washers. a good cooler will do wonders
well i can say i can't make a living off rebuiding them. they seem to be a very good unit.
i haven't seen problems with them with a turbo and 35" tires.
i have put more clutches in by modifying steel and clutch count and pressureplate thickness. there is better quality parts than just...
