    Ticking engine

    I had this ticking problem on a '94 4.0L. I ran half a bottle of Seafoam through the throttle body at idle, revving every few seconds. The ticking went away for about 10k miles. I would repeat as necessary. Pour the other half in the tank when you fill it up. I tried all the other stuff...

    Should I buy this XJ??? (kinda long)

    $3600 sounds like a good price, I'd shoot for around 3200 or 3300. Window motors/regulators are easy in an XJ. Check the tranny fluid, smell it to make sure it's not burned. Pull the seat belts all the way out and look for mold/mildew to see if it was ever submerged.
