have for sale a 1988 xj 4-door. has 97 engine with about 80,000 miles on it and runs good. body is good and repaint is good except some peeling where plastic was painted. has 8.25 chrysler rear and dana 30 hp front. power windows work pretty good, power locks not so good. has good tires and 4.0...

what do you mean snapping the end off? the end off of what? im asking because im swapping a 44 from an 88 xj into a 93 xj. is there some problem with this? i thought it was a bolt-in swap.

thats interesting, it looks like the chrysler (flat part on bottom) but it has a tag that says "35". there are no fuses or anything on the abs parts so im assuming i dont have abs. also, both tags are held on by diff bolts. the reason i am asking is i have an 88 and a 93 xj. the 88 has a dana...

hi people, i have a 93 xj with 4.0 auto. there are two tags on the diff. one says "35" which i assume means a dana 35. the other says "1553". anyone know what this means?

hello people, i have available to get either a 8.8 out of a lincoln with disc brakes but it is 28 spline. the other one is a 8.8 31 spline out of an explorer but with drum brakes. which one would be better? is a31 spline alot stronger?

but do you wheel it or just drive on the street?

please help people. i keep reading and hearing conflicting info. DANA 35 (upgraded), is it or is it not strong enough for wheeling with no more than 31" tires? if you have experience with them please reply.
