88 4.0 5 speed 4wd I removed a Ba10 transmission and put back an AX15, reused same T Case. I can not get the linkage to line up with the new transmission. Am I doing something wrong, or is there some adapter bracket?

Thank you. I will look for rivet nuts. The ones I am refering to are inside a hollow channel and cannot get inside to weld, and there is nothing there to tap.

Where bolts screw into the body, such as seat mounts, seat belt mounts etc. What the bolts srew into. Is there a way to install new ones, I have some that are missing? Possibly broke out.

Oh shoot, I just looked again and the 92 is not 4WD. These AX15 are hard to find.

This has probably been discusssed before, but I could not find it. I have a 1988 Cherokee, 4WD, 5 speed manual, Peugot. Which is broke. I have found a 1992 Cherokee with what I think is a AX15. If it is an AX15, will it fit in my jeep? The guy at the junkyard says no, but I am not sure they...
