    jeep exhaust too hot.

Yeah, I have a flowmaster too, I was just throwin that out there.. I am out of ideas, other than I'd want to look further into the cat loaded up with fuel theory. Possibly somewhow get your hands on a scan tool with real time data readings (not the Autozone code reader) so you can look at the...

    jeep exhaust too hot.

Even though it passed emissions, cats glow (and then melt and quit being effective) when they get loaded up with fuel. Make sure there is no reason that you'd have the engine dumping fuel out the exhaust, like that you have good plugs, wires, etc., also no exhaust leaks ahead of the front o2...

    air conditioning squeal

Yeah, make extra sure it's not just the belt. If it usually does it only when the Jeep has just been started, like in a parking lot with the A/C on, turning the steering and accelerating, that's definitely a belt issue. Even if you're going straight, with the A/C on and accelerating, it'll...

    94xj ac compressor bearing

It's not too hard, you don't have to disconnect any refrigerant lines, maybe just un-bolt the compressor to get at it more easily. I've never changed one on a Jeep, but generally there's a bolt, followed by a snap ring or two and that's about it. It's possible that there are tiny shims in...

    gauge cluster id.....

It's an amber picture of a key, but with a circle around it and a slash through it, meaning the key doesn't match. I'm not what you're swapping from, but I put a cluster from a later model into my '98 and it's working out well. Good luck.

replacing brake drum hardware and pads. Any special tools/instructions?

Do brake spring tools count as 'special'?

    TCase shift fork

Most dealers can get parts next day, if the main warehouse has it, which I would think that they would. I think that 4 wheel hardware has shift forks available, at least for the NP231, and I'm sure you can get next day or 2nd day shipping from them.

    Prices at Dealers <Mad>

TSB stuff isn't an automatic freebie like a recall, it's more like a useful hint for the technician that gives a likely cause for a symptom and a manufacturer-supported and suggested repair. Perhaps your TSB work was done for free because it was still in warranty, or it was goodwill warrantied...

Odd Brake Behavior - Help Please

Definitely try pulling the vacuum line to the booster. The ABS won't actually pull the pedal down.

    Coolant in Air Box

Probably midgets. Possibly gnomes, depending on the climate. They weasel their way in, especially on earlier models. They tend to nest in the brake booster and crawl through the vacuum line to the air intake. Ahhahahahaha I kid.. I don't think it's a radiator leak or hose leak, because...

    serpentine belt

I think that it's the same belt. I don't know if A/C came standard in '01, but on earlier models there was just a bypass pulley where the A/C compressor goes.

    crazy ac

I agree with take it to a shop. There are so many variables at this point and without proper equipment like a set of gauges and the machine to evacuate/recharge it's too easy to misdiagnose the problem. There's a good chance the system is overcharged, or a sensor is bad, or your evaporator is...

Can't find the cause, belt squealing and poor charging

Take the belt off and spin the alternator pulley. It should spin smoothly without making any noises and without much resistance. That should help you decide if your problem is coming from the alternator.

4.0 High RPM Miss and Sputter

Another thought to check for loose wiring and connectors.
