i have similar problems with my 2000 cherokee sport. i'm having a mechanic test the REAL oil pressure today with a mechanical guage. my oil pressure drops to almost zero when the engine is at max warmth and in idle. check engine light comes on. then, when i drive, it goes up to about 40psi...
