    8.8 Ebrake lever

Wow.... 42 people read this and nobody knew the answer!!!! We'll, not being happy with the ebrake return, I took the c-clips out and removed the axles enough to get the ebrake arm out. It was seized andrequired some heat an penetrating fluid to loosen up, and eventually separate. So indeed they...

    8.8 Ebrake lever

While installing the brakes on my 8.8 swap I see you can't remove the brake lever while the axle is in. So I left it in and hit it with the wire brush. The lever is a little crusty and moves freely in the backingplate but I'm wondering It looks like the lever is two pieces, are they...

One of them hybrid cage builds (lots of pics)

Love how clean the interior went back in, anyone can plop a cage in a gutted interior and call it done, but to go the extra step and put everything back on, its real classy look. Great job guys

Napier Fender Flares, Will they fit?

So what was he biggest problem mounting them on an early xj? My fronts are trimmed to remove the factory holes and my rears are rolled and folded. I've just about bought them a few times but don't want to if they just plain won't work. Thing is no other flare mfg differentiates between model...

    Is this right?

Yikes, I read some links attached to one of the posts regarding camshaft specs. 91-95 camshaft with a valve sep angle of 112 but an intake centerline of 120...... Wow.... That's not really screaming to low end torque!!!!! But probably accounts for the table top torque curve! Almost makes me...

    RC leaf spring mod

i think I'll have to do the lift in stages, do the back and check shackle angle, I can't order the front springs until I figure out if the rear shackle angle is gonna be crap or not. They are used springs so I won't have any settling time in them, the should be already settled. does a...

    RC leaf spring mod

i also realized that you say you have 4.5" springs but RE's rear lift for the 4.5" superflex is 3.5" springs with an extended shackle. The RC kit uses 4.5" rear springs and NO shackle to get its lift my math goes like this 4.5" spring 1-1.5" relocation bracket 1-1.5" Shackle 8.8 rear diff @...

    RC leaf spring mod

still, at 6" I would have to run a bigger tire, which I like the looks of but my pocket book doesn't. I just bought a 4.10 gear set for my front end and an 8.8 for the rear with 4.10's and LSD. 8.8 will also gain .25" lift. 4.10's MIGHT work with 33's adn the AX15

    RC leaf spring mod

I got a super cheap set of RC 4.5" leaf springs for my XJ, I'm thinking of running shackle relocation brackets and an extended shackle to get good travel and ride. The problem is I don't think I want 7" of lift. Anyone think there would be a problem removing one leaf,(not sure which one)...
