I lookd at my yoke. Its flat on the back. I think a nut can sit there.i got pics but im on my phone. They r crappy but u can see the flat area post it lata.

I havent actually looked. Ill look tomorrow. If it is flat Im gonna replace the bolts with grade 5 and buy some CJ ubolts. that way if it sheer i can ex out it and worse come to worst drill it out to get home and keep the cj ubolts on hand

You know now that I read the 71 Cj ubolt thread. Im gonna look and see if i have room for the bolts. I have a a 96 with the 29-spline heck you never know what weird stuff there is. I really dont wanna grind room for the bolt so i think the grade 5 bolt idea will be ok. Hopefully i can ez out it...
