Why am I able to unbolt the tps and at wide open throttle, twist the sensor to get to 4.5 volts then? Of course I have not used genuine mopar tps. Also I've checked the resistance and it's zero on the signal wire and the power wire

95 jeep cherokee, this is a new to me jeep as a project. Sold as it wasn't running right. It wants to die when I give it throttle and can't get into fourth gear unless I manually shift with the tcm unplugged. I replaced the original tps because I was only getting 3.79 volts at wide open...
