I have an XRC8. The plug-in on mine also took a dump, I just took the switch out of the handheld controller and hardwired it in bypassing the plug in. Mounted the switch on the dash and ran my wiring, works great and I dont have to get out and plug it in

Hell I run 4s on my 32s, but Im locked front and rear. Ill look for you down there sometime and we can do some wheelin.

Yeah, its all vaccum. I just dont understand why it will switch it like halfway, then it seems like it gets stuck. And my cruise is still fine.

So today I jump in my XJ and go to switch the defroster on. NO DEFROSTER!!! argh. So I go to the middle vents. NOPE. Only the floor works. I can hear it try to switch to the vents and defroster, and it just sounds like its blowing air against a wall. Anyone got ideas? THANKS 1997
