im from east moline, and its my first spring having the xj done and im hoping to do a lot of wheeling if me and my buddies can find another good spot, cuz it looks like theres going to be some sloppy trails come spring. so if you hear of any good spots around the area it would be helpful.

i have a high angle cv driveshaft with a slip yoke. i am pretty sure it said 40 degrees. I was told to point the pinion up at the transfer case when you have a cv driveshaft, isnt that the whole idea behind putting in axle pad shims.

so are you saying i should take the 5 degree shims out and throw in 2 degree shims, and that should make me good.

i just measured it today in the same spots and now im getting 20 on the driveshaft and 15 next to the diff cover. hopefully that will tell someone what is going on.
