i run rustys coils up front on highway and offroad... personally i like the rate and it feels very stable, Rustys, Big Offroad, Alcan, all of these are going to be stiff leafs and should keep your back end stable
You should definately have space, i actually have my fan spaced forward to get it close to the radiator. If you do decide to run the electric pusher fan, mount your radiator closer to the engine and run a fan with no spacer, and then put the pusher fan on a manual switch and only run it at low...
it really depends on how you drive i guess, everyone i know whos build the 30 has never had any problems, i run 35's on my regular HP 30 and have yet to mess anything up other than braking some shitty burfeild 30 axles
Are you sure? i am almost positive that my friends 70' mustang mach1 has a HP 9"... of course i could be wrong, its been a long time since ive been underneath it.
go with the supercharger if your going to offroad it, its going to give you more power throughout your RPM range, where as a small turbo is going to lose its effectiveness at higher RPM's and a larger turbo is going to have to much lag down low to really help you when you need low end.
i would buy them, keep the 44 how it was and install it with whatever adjustments it would take to fit it underneath, and then just gut the LP 30 and put the locker and gears in you HP 30, that should make your 30 stong enough to run 35's. I know a lot of people running the exact same setup...
