I really don't think so. If the unibody flexed too much with the glass in then the glass would shatter/crack. So taking the glass out should not matter much as far as rigidity. It may effect it a little but not much.

What I meant was--higher gear/lower RPM.

With the 3.07 you should be able to go faster on the highway but your offrpoad performance will greatly suffer. :flamemad:

I have seen many discussions about winches but I am still unclear about what will fit the ARB Bull Bar and the XJ grill. I guess my question is which winch will fit the XJ and the Arb? :confused: :confused:

IMO the tires are probally what is causing you MPG to go down. I have been running no cat for as long as I have had the rig. The MPG goes up when I run smaller/stock size tires. Opening up the exhaust should give you more power and better MPG. IMHO the exhaust is not your problem

It should work. You'll just have to change out the tail housing on the transmission. The tail housing is different between the two.
