x2 on wd40, graphite collects dirt and gets gunky, wd40 works wonders on locks of any kind really

the last ones i di for a customer of mine, i used an air hammer with a chisel bit, just work it around the edges of the sleeve and it will come out, i didnt want to use heat due the fact that my garage is in my basement and i didnt want the house to stink like melting bushings for a couple days lol

park it in the garage with a pit bull......these days I seriously think there is no where safe, i have pretty much quit locking my jeep when it is out side, i dont want the hassle of broken glass and replacing a window.....

I towed my old xj waggy with a 99 tahoe, it did fine, of course, I was used to towing with a 7.3 powerstroke, and tried to compare apples to oranges there...but after I got used to it and accepted the fact that it wasnt gonna be a hotrod, I was fine with it

the bearing adjustors have a "hole" for lack of a better term right now, that is the same dimension as the pinion nut, so, you can go buy a new pinion nut, and weld it on to an extension, and it works perfect, unfortunately, I didnt find this out til after I had spent the money on the adjustor...

ah I see, the jack stands must be the big difference, im running between 4.5 and 5 inches on 35s with the same axles, and mine is nowhere near that tall:wave:

glad you got it covered $130.00? was that for them to come to you? I know the shop I used to work at charged about 15 bucks to cut a key by code....but, that was in the shop, otherwise we didnt work on anything automotive/vehicle related

why not just get the key code off the gas tank lock, and go to a locksmith and have them cut the key by code? or, take the ignition out and take it to a locksmith and have them make a key from the cylinder? surely you have a locksmith shop around there some where?
