    I would put that water pump in. In all of my Jeeps (three XJs and one wrangler) it seems the water pump was the weak point in the cooling system.     I took the baffle out of mine and put in 100w bulbs. havent had any trouble with them or the wiring yet.

    I would check the freeze plugs. The plug kit from the dealer isnt expensive it just takes a little work to change them.
