What would make a np-231 out of a 96 cherokee with the 4.0 any diffrent than the rest? My buddy has broken his t-case in his 96 cherokee and everyone i have talked to has told me that you would need one from this same year is this correct?

Still draging.................. Front are still not releasing from rotors. Could this be in the master cylinder? The brakes work great but the front pads are not leting the wheels spin free

OK, I took the calipers back off and there were some pretty big marks were the pads ride, I dont rember seeing them before. I ground them down flat, I know you are supposed to weld them in but i really did not have time tonight. I also regreased the pins and contact patches were the pads...

I did pump the brakes untill they were hard with the car off then cracked the bleeders. They both did not spurt out fluid just trickeled out. As for the pins i will check them and make sure they are not bent or groved and will re lube them with some brake pin grease....

If you look cloce in the block it looks like a circular pattern on the left.. I have used tap water with a aluminum pump and heads never had anything look like that.. Dont reuse it.......................

Well my uncle installed my gears and we have a big problem....... WE installed a set of 4.56 gears in my 8.25 and when we took it for a ride it has a loud whine on acceleration and a grind when you are going about 15-0. We have taken this apart several times and have replaced the pinion...
