Just started getting a noise from end .sounds like metallic noise or like loose ball bearings hitting together.Could it be bad hub bearing?

JUST replaced radiator,water pump, tstat from dealer and fan clutch.my mechanic said the elec. fans are working properly. When a/c is on in bumper to bumper. it is over heating .AS SOON asi turn it off the temp comes down in about 30 seconds. Any ideas ?

I have a 99XJ w/ 2" lift and an SYE. Would a 93 ZJ 5.2 v8 front shaft be an upgrade to run in the rear w/ my 8.25 chry.?Will it work? Currently running front 98 XJ shaft in rear.

Found problem. behind cyl. there is a white plastic housing that holds a cast cylinder that turns the electric switch part.The end of the cast is cracked in half .Right now i am starting by putting a screwdriver in plastic module.IS this a dealer item and what is it called?

MY 99XJ was starting for last week, but wouldnt engage starter til the last 1/8 " of key turn . Today started the same way once then wouldnt start again. I can hear clicking in inside fuse panel. I was able to pop out cyl. by pushing a screwdriver into bottom hole in column shroud. I can turn...

I had a bad squeal at idle only when first started, then it would go away. When i finally popPed hood to check belts , found oUt it was coming from a bad distributor.

OK. The way i understood was he ment the rear yoke might be using 1350 instead of 1310.

I have a 99 XJ , AW4 AUTO W/ 231 J trans case. I picked up a front d/s from A 98 xj in great condition. I ordered my SYE from AA and he said the only problem i could have runnin the front shaft is if my 99 has 1350 u joints vs 1310. How do i measure them while still on rig. IS it more likely to...

Is anyone running one of these bumpers on a 97-01 XJ. They dont have many pics on website?

I shaved a long thin piece of plastic small enough to fit in the round hole in frame bout 6 or 7 inches from broken stud. Slapped axel grease and stuck nut on end ,and positioned it over stud i drilled out.That worked for me.

Wich SYE did you go with?

I have researched this subject and cant seem to get a definite answer.I have a 99 xj w/ 2" lift and want to loose the t-case drop and go w/ rugged ridge SYE.Will the front d/s from a 99 XJ fit the rear without mods?
