WTB D30 HP 3.55 gears or complete axle.

I'm looking for either just HP D30 3.55 gears to replace the 3.07s I currently have or for the right price I'll take a complete D30 but must have good joints and bearings/hubs. Let me know, I'm located in Central Pa near State college.

    Chrysler 8.25 help

With the grinding sound I'm worried there's a glad amount of wear. Although now we are thinking it could be something with the spiders, carrier bearings or something along that line. I'm gonna pull the cover and see what's going on. My other option is find 3.55 HP D30 gears for the front and...

    Help please, parts needed ASAP!

It's verified, the only thing I found that feels/looks good is the track bar. But I found more problems that needs attention first with the rear axle bearings being bad. See my recent post, this whole project is starting to piss me off and about to be scrapped!!!! I knew I would have to replace...

    Chrysler 8.25 help

When I did the lift I swapped axles and all from the donor(96 xj) into my 00 mainly for the HP D30. Well I've found the axles bearing are bad which I'm pretty sure the axles will likely be shot too. What I wanna know is can I swap the 27 carrier and axles for the 29 spline without having to do a...

    AwesomeXJ late model build

The 8.8 is a no brainer swap. If you find it out of a 95+ Explorer it will have 31 spine axles and anything from 3.08 to 4.56 gears. The Ford LSD is a capable unit for wheeling if you do one small trick. Buy a rebuild kit for about $60 and when you do the rebuild add one old disk on each side...

Yea it sucks BAD!! But we greasing and anti-seizing the hell out of everything so when I do the long arms next winter it should be a breeze. Lol I guess 13 years of winters in Pa where they use nasty shit on the roads I'm luck it only has rusted bolts and light surface rust. On a side note...

Well the rear is even worse then the front with all 4 bolts rusted tight to the sleeves. We go the rear 2 out and sent almost 2 hours on one of the front leaf bolt and didn't get far before we got frustrated and called it quits. We will get back on it Monday evening since we all habe busy...

My project "Re-enlistment/Zombie Response Team, ZRT-1 Mobile Command.

Its getting close!! The front is pretty much done except for running new steel brake lines and a couple little thing. We had a hell of a time dealing with rusted bolts even after 2 cans of PB Blaster over a 2 week period. Pa rust is brutal. Lol if all goes well the rear will be done tonight and...
