Could a faulty spool valve in the steering box on a 97' cause the return line to get excessive pressure and blow off? I have searched and searched on this with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 97' that has had to have the high pressure power steering line replaced 3 x's in a year or so. I just replaced the pump thinking that might cure the problem. Now as soon as the engine fires up, the return line blows off. The hoses are not crossed, full of fluid, and bled the air. Any...

Also, when i jumped the nss, i did with it unplugged. Should i have jumped them on the back side, and left it plugged in?

I did try it in neutral with no luck. I also unpluged ithe nss and jumped the 2 terminals on the bottom of the plug, still no go

Got a no crank condition. Battery is good, ive went back and forth through the gears several times. I can jump it off the solenoid, and at the starter relay and it fires right up. My reverse lights work too. Think its my nss?

Hard to start, rough idle, cutting out on acceleration.

Finally ran out of parts to buy!!! I put an alternator , fuel pumpup, sea foamed it, and swapped the coil. She is running like a top. Thanks to everyone for all the help

I dont have any codes. Im assuming i pop the cap off, set #1 cyl to tdc, and make sure the pick up coil is lined up. (With a tooth pick) correct?

Ive been trying to read up on fuel trims and what everything means. Anyone have any helpful tips on "what would be normal".
