My son just totalled my 99 sport. I have all of them if you want the lisc. trim in red. My interior may be the darker color though. Insurance guy comes out tomorrow, I'm buying it back and then let the tear down begin.

I have to replace the gasket between the Y pipe and the pipe that goes to the cat convertor (federal emissions). There are three fasteners on the flange but are quite corroded and have no nuts on them. Can someone tell me what size they are so I can get some new ones when I get the gasket? Thanks!

Been there, done that, same scenario. LCA's solved it, bushings in them were junk. Did TB, all TRE's and a unit bearing. Still there. Put cheapie Qtec LCA's on and problem was gone. That was 4 yrs ago. Still fine. Get some LCA's

Search my posts on the topic I did a write up a couple years ago on how to fix the wiring it's an easy fix. There is one one the door lock too. you can do a 6.5 in the door. In some cases you may need to trim the opening a touch though. Depth usually isn't an issue.

I'm liking this strategy here!!! Mine is a mid year 99 so the 0331 head is likely not the issue. I'm doing an oil change Monday, we'll degrease more and monitor! CCV is a good tip, in my case I know we are fine there as I cleaned it when I changed the VC gasket.
