Thanks for the quick replies! Helpful info. DirtyMJ, I think for my project thats a little excessive....Maybe the next one. But I would like to see how that turns out! And, axles are a concern. I'm planning on an 8.8 rear and upgraded shafts in the front for now.
I tried searching but could not find any info except cutting fenders....which is not what I'm looking for.
I am doing a homebrew longarm on my 2 door. Right now I have the front axle disconnected from everything to see what I need to cut for clearance. I do not have a 35 to try but I have...
Thanks for the info. Last night I disconnected the wire from the sender and then re-connected it. Now the gauge is reading properly. I'll just keep my eye on it, maybe do something more resolute later.
Thanks Again!
Just recently my oil pressure has begun to jump to 80+ lbs and the gauge is irratic. (Goes from 60 lbs to pegged and does not depend on engine RPM's)
I figured I had some gunk clogging an oil passage so I ran a crankcase cleaner in it, changed the oil and filter, and I am getting the same...
Very true... I was trying for high gas mileage..... very light foot, drive close behind larger vehicles when possible, and with stock gearing and 32's, those RPM's were very low!
;)
I've got 32x11.50's on stock rims with a 4.5" lift. At full compression I get a little bit of rubbing on the inner front fender(just above spring seat) and a little bit on the inner rear. At full lock my tires rub on my control arms, but if I let up 1/8 of a turn on the steering wheel it goes...
4.5" lift, 32x11.50 bfg at KO's, stock gears, auto, rusty's air tube, cat back exhaust
I get 16.5 - 18.5 most of the time. One time on a trip to Vegas (from San Diego) I cruised at 55 to 60 mph and got 25.2 mpg!
I agree except that I have a little over 80,000 miles on my 32x11.50's. They probably still have at least 10 to 20,000 left in them! They have lasted very well! I will definitely buy them again
